Blase J. Spinozzi, Chairperson
White Plains

Mr. Blase J. Spinozzi, a Town of Greenburgh Resident since 1972, has a long professional career as a Court Reporter. He served with the Supreme Court State of New York, Sr. Court Reporter 1973 – 2002 (Served as 1st Vice President of ASSCR (Union) while in Supreme Court). He also served with the Civil Court of the City of New York, Court Reporter I, 1969 – 2002 and lastly worked with the Department of Labor, Hearing Reporter from 1963 – 1969. He continues to do Freelance Court Reporter. Mr. Spinozzi is a US Army & US Army Reserve veteran where served as with the Judge Advocate General Corps. Mr. Spinozzi received an Associate Degree from the Interboro Institute of New York. He has been the President Hilltop Farms Civic Association, Inc. since 1999.

Trudy Holand, Secretary

Trudy Holand and her spouse have lived in the Greenburgh community over forty years during which time Ms. Holand has been a proud homemaker and mother.   While her three children attended the Ardsley schools, Ms. Holand was a very active volunteer in the school community in various capacities.    Despite her busy schedule in community affairs, Ms. Holand was engaged in her self-founded business as an event planner.

Ms. Holand has served on numerous town boards, to wit, president of the East Rumbrook Dog Park, and as a board member of Greenburgh Parks and Recreation.

In 2014, while president, the East Rumbrook Dog Park was awarded the Greenburgh Parks and Recreation Commissioner’s Community Service Award .  

Ms. Holand presently is an active congregant of the Woodlands Community Temple and serves on various committees therein.

Presently, Ms. Holand remains as president of the Rumbrook Dog Park, a member of the Greenburgh Parks and Recreation Board, and secretary of the Greenburgh Board of Ethics.



Joseph S. Malara, Esq., Volunteer Counsel
South Salem

Mr. Malara, the BOE "Volunteer Counsel" since 2010, is an Attorney admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of New York. He is a graduate of Fordham College and Fordham Law School. He was a resident of the Town of Greenburgh until 1997. He maintained an office in Hartsdale until 2006 when he moved to South Salem.


Timothy Hays

Timothy Hays has been a resident of Hastings-on-Hudson since 1996.  A former journalist, he is a literary and film agent, editor, and speechwriter.


Jacqueline Baranov

Jacqueline has been a resident of Hartsdale since 2018 and has enjoyed getting to know the community. During the day, Jacqueline works in Advertising Sales, but she has always had a passion for law, and ethical questions. In years past, Jacqueline has worked with many non-profit organizations to help launch their advocacy campaigns, which was quite rewarding. She is excited to offer another perspective and to serve on the Board of Ethics.
